The Company was founded in 1980 as «AGROTIKI GENERAL INSURANCE COMPANY S.A.» with the sign of «AGROTIKI INSURANCE».
The change in corporate name from «AGROTIKI GENERAL INSURANCE COMPANY S.A.» to «AGROTIKI INSURANCE S.A.» was decided on at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on 20.12.2002 which approved the merger through absorption of «AGROTIKI LIFE & HEALTH INSURANCE S.A.» by «AGROTIKI GENERAL INSURANCE COMPANY S.A».
The Company arising from the merger has its registered office in Nea Smyrni at 163 Syngrou Ave., Tel. 210-9379100 and it is recorded in the Register of Incorporated companies (Societes Anonymes) under No.12821/05/B/86/1. The company’s duration is 100 years.
The Company is active in all modern branches of insurance providing innovative and specialized plans ensuring complete insurance coverage both at individual and corporate level. It is engaged in the following activities classified by branch.
The company is active in the following branches, which have been coded by Legislative Decree 400/70 as amended by Presidential Decree 252/96.
Since 05-08-2005 the Company uses the trading name « ATE INSURANCE ».
