AGROTIKI INSURANCE S.A provides a wide range of life and non-life insurance products.
 The Company is active in all non-life insurance branches providing competitive plans and integrated insurance coverage both at individual and business level. It offers insurance plans that cover all personal, family, professional and business insurance needs of Greek consumers. In addition it offers specialized plans in the agricultural sector which cover both crops and livestock, some of which are unique in the marketplace such as the Company’s aquaculture plans. These plans have been designed in collaboration with farmers-businessmen and agricultural experts of the Agricultural Bank of Greece. In addition to traditional insurance products new competitive products have been designed covering various sectors such as technical projects, motor vehicle insurance, commercial facilities, ship crews, fishing vessels and yachts etc.
In the life insurance sector the Company offers a wide range of plans, among the most innovative in the marketplace, which cover life and health, protecting income and families from the risks they are confronted with (sickness, accident, death, old-age).
The results of the Company’s decision, taken in 2006, to reinforce its position in the area of Retirement & Savings insurance products were recorded during 2007.
SUPER PENSION which was launched on February of 2007 was the product that helped overturn the trend in new production and to its increase compared to year 2006. At the same time, it was the main factor to the total increase of the Company’s portfolio, compared to the previous year.
With SUPER PENSION, the customer ensures from the beginning, a guaranteed desired pension sum at the age of his choice, despite any changes in the economic environment. Upon expiry of the insurance contract, he is given the additional choice of withdrawing all the accumulated capital as a single payment, or to withdraw a partial lump sum and maintain the rest as a monthly pension.
Based on SUPER PENSION and the products SUPER KIDS and SUPER KIDS INVESTMENT as well, which aim to guarantee the future needs of children, ATE Insurance will continue its efforts to improve its position in the Greek market, taking advantage of the increased consumer interest on products that cover the need of future pension.
The Company also offers a set of programs combining insurance policies with investments in mutual funds available from Agricultural Bank of Greece Mutual Funds S.A. and the Company’s internal variable funds with guaranteed returns for insured parties.
The Company is also active in the group insurance market covering companies’ employees with insurance plans. These insurance plans cover employees in any enterprise providing them with various forms of cover such as life insurance, accident and disability insurance, hospital and outpatient care, pension and lump sum benefit insurance.
This market is particularly dynamic, exhibiting great potential, especial though collaborations with ÁÔÅBank.
